EDITING VARIANTS
- EDITING AN INDIVIDUAL VARIANT
When editing an individual product, you have the option to : EDIT PRICE, ADD / EDIT COST PRICE or ADD / EDIT SKU.
From the Nimbl Portal, under the STORE tab, click on PRODUCTS to open the drop down and click on the OVERVIEW button.
Click on the VIEW button of the product you want to edit the variants of.
Click on the fourth TAB, INVENTORY.
Your current VARIANT LIST will appear.
Click on the EDIT button of the variant you want to EDIT.
1. EDIT the price
2. ADD / EDIT the cost price.
3. ADD / EDIT the SKU.
Click on the SAVE VARIANT button.
The VARIANT LIST will now have updated to include your new data.
If you AMEND prices of variants, we recommend that you check your Product Parent Price. (This should always be set to Lowest Variant Price.) Click on the 3rd tab, PRICING.
Click on the SET TO LOWEST VARIANT PRICE button.
The Product Parent Price is the FROM price when viewing your products, therefore it is best to use the lowest variant price.
2. ADDING / DELETING A VARIANT
You can only add / delete a variant to / from your current options. To add a new option you will have to delete ALL variants and start building your variant list from scratch.
From the Nimbl Portal, under the STORE tab, click on PRODUCTS to open the drop down and click on the OVERVIEW button.
Click on the VIEW button of the product you want to add / delete the variants of.
Click on the fourth TAB, INVENTORY.
2.1 ADDING A VARIANT
Click on the ADD VARIANT button.
a POP-UP will appear to remind you to save any changes before continuing. Click OK.
You can choose to add a variant to one of your current variant options.
Click on the NEXT button.
A list will appear with the current variants under the chosen option.
ADD the new variant.
Click on the NEXT button.
Your Preview List will appear. The price is automatically set to the Product Parent Price (set under the pricing tab). You can leave it as is if this is correct. Alternatively you can give individual pricing (if applicable).
You can also add SKU's (OPTIONAL).
Click on the CREATE VARIANTS button.
The newly created variants will be under your Variant List.
NOTE: When adding a variant it resets the variant order displayed on your website. You can rearrange this, see: REORDERING OF VARIANTS
2.2 DELETING A VARIANT
Click on the DELETE VARIANT button.
a POP-UP will appear to remind you to save any changes before continuing. Click OK.
You can choose to delete a variant from one of your current variant options.
Click on the NEXT button.
A drop down will appear with the current variants under the chosen option.
Click on the NEXT button.
A list will appear with ALL MATCHING VARIANTS. Double check that you want to delete these variants.
When you are certain, click on the DELETE VARIANTS button.
The deleted variants will no longer be on your Variant List.
NOTE: When deleting a variant it resets the variant order displayed on your website. You can rearrange this, see: REORDERING OF VARIANTS

3. REORDERING OF VARIANTS
This video will illustrate how to reorder your variants. This effects the way the variant displays in the drop down on your website. You can rearrange the variants to suit your needs.
From the Nimbl Portal, under the STORE tab, click on PRODUCTS to open the drop down and click on the OVERVIEW button.
Click on the VIEW button of the product you want to add / delete the variants of.
Click on the fourth TAB, INVENTORY.
Click on the REORDER button.
a POP-UP will appear to remind you to save any changes before continuing. Click OK.
The variants are alphabetically sorted per OPTION. Now you can DRAG your variants into the order you want them to display on your website.
Click on the SAVE ORDER button.
The SAVED order will now reflect on your website.
4. DELETING ALL VARIANTS
When you want to ADD A NEW VARIANT OPTION, you have to rebuild your variant list. Therefore, you are going to have to delete all variants and the start from scratch.
From the Nimbl Portal, under the STORE tab, click on PRODUCTS to open the drop down and click on the OVERVIEW button.
Click on the VIEW button of the product you want to add / delete the variants of.
Click on the fourth TAB, INVENTORY.
Click on the DELETE ALL VARIANTS button.
All variants have been deleted.
