SHOPPING WITH A GIFT CARD
When a customer has a Valid Gift Card Voucher for your website, they can pay for their shopping using that Gift Card Voucher.
The payment can be completed using:
1. Just the Gift Card Voucher, OR
2. A combination of Gift Card Voucher and another payment option.
When they get to the CHECK OUT page, they have a gift card PAYMENT OPTION.
NB. Once a gift card voucher has been loaded, the transaction cannot be reversed. Also, if the gift card value is not enough, the rest of the amount must be paid using one of the other payment options.
VOUCHER VALUE is bigger / equal to ORDER TOTAL
Enter the unique Gift Card Number and click on the LOAD GIFT CARD button.
A POP-UP will appear reminding the customer that once they click OK, the transaction cannot be reversed. Click on the OK button.
The order is complete - no other payment needed. If the Gift Card Value was more than the order total, the balance will be available on the same Gift Card Voucher number.
VOUCHER VALUE is smaller than ORDER TOTAL
Enter the unique Gift Card Number and click on the LOAD GIFT CARD button.
A POP-UP will appear reminding the customer that once they click OK, the transaction cannot be reversed. Click on the OK button.
A POP-UP will appear confirming the Gift Card Value was not enough to complete the order, and that the customer will have to pay the remaining balance using another payment option. Close the POP-UP to continue with payment process.
