FIRST TIME BUYER DISCOUNT


To encourage first time visitors to complete their basket, you can assign a Discount Code automatically to first time buyers.



  • From the Nimbl Portal, under the STORE tab, click on DISCOUNTS to open the drop down and click on the OVERVIEW button.

  • At the top of the page click on FIRST TIME BUYER DISCOUNT


PLEASE NOTE:

  • Create a discount code which you want to use before assigning it to First Time Buyers

  • First time buyers are calculated at checkout based on the email address. If a visitor email has not bought from your store previously the discount will be added

  • Normal rules of the discount will apply. If it is expired or deleted or not available anymore it will not be added

  • The discount code will be automatically added at checkout if the rules are valid. You can tell your visitors about this in a Bounce Popup to help the complete their carts and grow your conversion rate


  1. Currently Assigned Code

If you currently have a discount code assigned for First Time Buyers the code will be shown here:

2. Assign a Discount Code

  • To assign a discount code for First Time Byers, select the desired code from the drop down options and click on Assign Code

  • If you want to remove the currently assigned code select the No Discount Option from the drop down list and click on Assign Discount Code


Click on the "Assign Discount Code" button at the bottom to assign the discount for First Time Buyers
