ABANDONED CART RECOVERY

The Abandoned Cart Recovery feature helps you recover lost sales by sending automatic reminders to customers who leave items in their cart.

Understanding Abandoned Cart Emails

The abandoned cart recovery email sequence aims to re-engage customers who have left items in their shopping cart without completing the purchase. Here’s a brief description of each email type and the intended outcome:

Reminder Email

Purpose: This email is sent four hours after a customer abandons their cart. The main goal is to remind the customer of the item they showed interest in, gently nudging them to return and complete their purchase.

Timeline: 4 hours after abandonment

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Objection Email

Purpose: Sent 24 hours after cart abandonment, this email addresses any potential objections or concerns the customer might have about the product or purchase process. The aim is to reassure the customer and encourage them to proceed with their order.

Timeline: 24 hours after abandonment

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Discount Email

Purpose: This email is dispatched 48 hours after the cart is abandoned. It offers a discount on the product left in the cart, providing an added incentive for the customer to complete their purchase. However, discount codes are not generated automatically; the user must generate it first before activating this email.

Timeline: 48 hours after abandonment

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Last Chance Email

Purpose: The final email in the sequence is sent 72 hours after the cart is abandoned. It serves as a last reminder for the customer, creating a sense of urgency to encourage them to finalize their purchase before the items are no longer available.

Timeline: 72 hours after abandonment

These emails are part of a strategic approach to recover potentially lost sales by addressing customer forgetfulness, concerns, and providing incentives to complete their purchases.
