PRODUCT VIDEOS

This extension, when activated, allows you to embed a YouTube or Vimeo video to a product. This will further showcase your product to potential customers. It will also provide more Social Proof to your store. Visual representation is important when selling online to help clients make a more informed decision.

The importance of product videos can be felt by the fact that 92% of the shoppers say that visuals influence their buying decision. Product video eliminates their doubts and builds trust regarding product quality. Shoppers, hence, feel more comfortable purchasing after watching the video. It also builds credibility about the brand. People realize that the company is authoritative and not deceitful.

One of the major benefits of product videos is that they capture more user engagement. Going through the product description, reading the entire information can sometimes be a tedious task for the customers. Not only it is tiring, but it is also time-consuming.

Product videos provide the same information in a crisp and clear manner and grab more user engagement. Moreover, people are likely to pay attention to videos than images or texts.

HOW TO ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE

From the Nimbl Portal, under the STORE tab, click on MY SHOP to open the drop down and click on the EXTENSIONS button.
Next to PRODUCT VIDEOS, click on the EDIT button.
Click on the ENABLE PRODUCT VIDEOS EXTENSION (to enable) and DISABLE PRODUCT VIDEOS EXTENSION (to disable)

HOW TO ADD THE LINK TO A SPECIFIC PRODUCT

Once you have activated the PRODUCT VIDEOS EXTENSION, under the STORE tab, click on PRODUCTS to open the drop down and click on the OVERVIEW button.
Click on the VIEW button of the product you want to add a video to.
If the EXTENSION is active, under the PRODUCT IMAGES tab, the EMBED YOUTUBE / VIMEO VIDEO LINK (URL) will appear.
ADD the video link and click on the SAVE CHANGES button.

HOW TO GET THE VIDEO LINK

YOUTUBE

Go to YouTube.
Navigate to the video you wish to embed.
Click the Share link below the video, then click the Embed link.
The embed link will be highlighted in blue. You will need to copy this link in order to add it to a product on the Nimbl Portal.

VIMEO

Go to Vimeo.
Navigate to the video you wish to embed.
Click the Share button, in the top right corner of your video.
A pop-up will appear with the embed link information. You will need to copy only the <iframe> portion of the embed link in order to add it to a product on the Nimbl Portal.
