UPLOADIFY EXTENSION
Does your product need custom text or a custom image? Uploadify offers everything you need to let shoppers upload custom text, custom image, or both, when adding products to their cart.
ACTIVATING THE UPLOADIFY EXTENSION

ADDING UPLOADIFY TO A PRODUCT
Once you have activated the UPLOADIFY EXTENSION, under the STORE tab, click on PRODUCTS to open the drop down and click on the OVERVIEW button.
Click on the VIEW button of the product you want to add customization to.
If the EXTENSION is active, a new tab will appear, UPLOADIFY. Click on this tab to continue.
Not all products require customization, therefore you need to click on the ACTIVATE UPLOADIFY FOR THIS PRODUCT button.
You can ADD two custom fields to a product:
- CUSTOM TEXT FIELD
This gives your shoppers the opportunity to add text to the product they are buying.
To add this field to your website, you need to give it a heading. Here you can describe what you need from the shopper.
You can also set the field length (max 400 characters).
Is the custom text required by the shopper to complete their order? Tick the box to ensure that shoppers complete this field.
2. CUSTOM IMAGE UPLOAD
This gives your shoppers the opportunity to upload an image to the product they are buying.
To add this field to your website, you need to give it a heading. Here you can describe what you need from the shopper.
You can choose which file formats you allow the shoppers to upload. You can choose just one. The shopper will receive a message if it is not the correct file format they have uploaded. Or you can choose to allow all the file formats.
Is the upload of a custom image required by the shopper to complete their order? Tick the box to ensure that shoppers complete this field.
You can choose to have one of the custom fields (just leave the field blank that you don't want) OR both of the custom fields. Whatever works with your product!
Click on the SAVE CHANGES button.
