Google Analytics gives you powerful, free tools to track and analyze traffic across your store โ so you can make smarter decisions and grow faster.

๐ You'll need a Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Measurement ID (starts with G-) to complete this step.
Login to your Google Analytics account.
Create or select a GA4 property and copy your Measurement ID (starts with G-, e.g., G-ABC123XYZ).
In a new browser tab, log in to your BeNimble Portal.
Go to the STORE tab.
Under MY SHOP, click on EXTENSIONS.
Find Google Analytics 4 and click the EDIT button.
Paste your GA4 Measurement ID into the input field.
Click ENABLE GOOGLE ANALYTICS EXTENSION.

Go to the STORE tab in your BeNimble Portal.
Under MY SHOP, click EXTENSIONS.
Next to Google Analytics, click EDIT.
Click the DISABLE GOOGLE ANALYTICS EXTENSION button.
If youโve never used Google Analytics before, follow these steps:
Click Start Measuring.
Create a new Account, Property, and then a Web Stream.
Select Web as your platform.
Enter your store URL and name your stream.
Google will generate your Measurement ID (e.g. G-XXXXXXX).

Log in to Google Analytics.
Click the Admin gear icon in the bottom-left.
Under the Property column, choose or create a GA4 property.
Click Data Streams > select your Web stream.
Your Measurement ID will appear at the top.

Google Analytics no longer supports UA- (Universal Analytics) tracking IDs. All new implementations must use GA4, which uses G- format Measurement IDs.
