BOUNCE
Bounce is a pop-up that appears on your website for FIRST TIME visitors. This means it will only appear once per visitor. If they completely close your website and then open it up, it will appear again.
There are 4 options you can choose from:
(The pop-up can include an image or be just text.)
1. EMAIL SUBSCRIBER: to encourage first time visitors to subscribe.
2. DISCOUNT CODE: let first time visitors know when you're running a discount.
3. PROMOTION: let first time visitors know of a promotion you are running, or even a product you are showcasing.
4. JUST INFORMATION: Let first time visitors know any important information.
HOW TO ADD A BOUNCE POP-UP TO YOUR WEBSITE
From the Nimbl Portal, under the STORE tab, click on MY SHOP to open the drop down and click on the EXTENSIONS button.
Under the standard extensions you will find BOUNCE. This is the extension to create a pop-up for first time users to your website.
CLICK on the EDIT button.
CLICK on the CREATE NEW BOUNCE MESSAGE button.
You have the option to add either a JUST PLAIN TEXT pop-up OR the option to add a TEXT AND IMAGE pop-up. They are exactly the same, except that the one has an image option as well. Click on the corresponding image.
You have 4 pop-up options:
- EMAIL SUBSCRIBERS
SEE: SUBSCRIBER - the Subscriber Extension must be active for this pop-up to work.
This is a pop-up to help encourage your visitors to subscribe to your mailing list.
Click on the PICK ME button.
ADD a TITLE to the pop-up. This is BOLD and needs to capture your visitors attention.
ADD a DISCRIPTION to the pop-up. This should be more informative telling your visitors why they should sign up.
CLICK on the NEXT STEP button.
CLICK to UPLOAD your image (ONLY APPLICABLE IF YOU CHOSE THE BOUNCE WITH IMAGE)

You can change the background colour.
You can change the text colour.
CLICK on the NEXT STEP button.
CLICK on the SAVE MY BOUNCE button.
There is now a pop-up on your website that encourages first time visitors to subscribe to your newsletter.
2. SHARE DISCOUNT CODE
SEE: DISCOUNT CODES - You need to create a Discount code for this pop-up to work.
This is a pop-up to make visitors aware of a discount you are currently running.
Click on the PICK ME button.
ADD a TITLE to your pop-up.
ADD a MESSAGE to your pop-up to explain the discount code.
ADD the DISCOUNT CODE.
CLICK on the NEXT STEP button.
CLICK to UPLOAD your image (ONLY APPLICABLE IF YOU CHOSE THE BOUNCE WITH IMAGE)

You can change the background colour.
You can also change the text colour.
You can change the DISCOUNT text colour.
CLICK on the NEXT STEP button.
CLICK on the SAVE MY BOUNCE button.
There is now a pop-up on your website that lets first time visitors know about a discount you are currently running.
3. PROMOTION
This is a pop-up to promote or showcase something on your website.
Click on the PICK ME button.
ADD a TITLE to your pop-up.
ADD a MESSAGE to your pop-up to explain what you are promoting.
ADD a button to take your new visitor to the page / product you are promoting.
ENTER the LINK for the button (the URL link from your website).
CLICK on the NEXT STEP button.
CLICK to UPLOAD your image (ONLY APPLICABLE IF YOU CHOSE THE BOUNCE WITH IMAGE)

4. JUST INFORMATION
This is a pop-up to give information to first time visitors on your website.
Click on the PICK ME button.
ADD a TITLE to your pop-up.
ADD a MESSAGE to your pop-up to give important information.
CLICK on the NEXT STEP button.
CLICK to UPLOAD your image (ONLY APPLICABLE IF YOU CHOSE THE BOUNCE WITH IMAGE)

CLICK on the SAVE MY BOUNCE button.
There is now a pop-up on your website that lets first time visitors know any important information that you wish to relay.
HOW TO REMOVE A BOUNCE POP-UP
From the Nimbl Portal, under the STORE tab, click on MY SHOP to open the drop down and click on the EXTENSIONS button.
CLICK on the EDIT button.
There is a LIST with all your bounce pop-up's created. Your newest one will say ACTIVE. (Only one bounce is allowed at a time)
CLICK on the EDIT button next to your ACTIVE bounce.
CLICK on the STOP THIS BOUNCE POP-UP button.
Your bounce pop-up has been REMOVED.
HOW TO VIEW YOUR BOUNCE POP-UP
You will be able to preview your bounce multiple times to make sure it is correct, but please remember that this is a first time visitor pop-up, so your customers will only see it when they come to your store.
From the Nimbl Portal, under the STORE tab, click on MY SHOP to open the drop down and click on the EXTENSIONS button.
CLICK on the EDIT button.
There is a LIST with all your bounce pop-up's created. Your newest one will say ACTIVE. (Only one bounce is allowed at a time)
CLICK on the EDIT button next to your ACTIVE bounce.
CLICK on the PREVIEW ON WEBSITE button.
You can now PREVIEW your bounce pop-up.
