Offering discounts can be a powerful marketing strategy for your Nimbl store. To offer discounts, you can create discount codes or set sale prices for individual products.
Discounts are common business practice, and can help you:

reach sales targets during a slow sales period.
Before you start cutting your sales price in half though – in the hope of drumming up sales – do some planning to make sure you're still making a profit for the extra orders coming in. It's important to:
calculate the best discount price to still make a profit
prepare a marketing plan to encourage new customers and bring inactive customers back
find out what your competitors are offering and their current pricing
decide how long the sales price will be offered
review your accounts for any regular times of the week, month or year your business has a sales dip.
You can offer your customers a fixed value, percentage, or shipping discount on products, collections, or variants in your store.
You can also specify the dates for which the code is valid, the number of times a code can be used, a minimum order amount before the code can be used, and to which products, collections, or variants the discount can be applied.
