Go to Store Settings > Shipping Rule to review your current shipping setup.
Change domestic shipping
- Open the South Africa section.
- Review the current rule and any free-delivery override.
- Click CHANGE SHIPPING RULE.
- Choose the rule offered by the setup screen.
- Enter the required values and save.
Supported rule types include:
- Flat Shipping Rate: a fixed charge.
- Preferred Courier Rates: rates from configured couriers, with a subsidy amount where offered.
- Minimum Order Value: an existing rule type for a free-delivery threshold with courier rates below it.
- Area-specific rules: choose rules and factors for defined areas.
Use the options actually offered on your screen; some older rule types may appear only for existing configurations.
Area rules
When using area-specific rules, configure the listed areas and ALL AREAS NOT LISTED. That default determines what happens to addresses not covered by an explicit area.
Review any unavailable-area settings before saving.
Free delivery and international zones
A free-delivery order-value override can affect the calculated domestic charge. Review it along with the base rule.
International shipping is configured separately through the Rest of the World shipping-zone workflow. Test representative checkout addresses and basket values after changing shipping.
