Overview
The Payment Options page is where you configure the payment methods available to your customers at checkout. Be Nimble supports multiple popular South African payment gateways.
Available Payment Methods
EFT Payments
The default payment method. Your banking details are displayed to customers so they can make a direct bank transfer.
PayFast
South Africa's leading online payment processor. Accepts credit cards, SnapScan, Mobicred, and more. Requires a PayFast merchant account.
Paystack
Modern payment processing for Africa with low fees and free payouts. Suitable for South African businesses.
Yoco
African payment technology for online and in-store payments. Great for businesses with both online and physical sales.
SnapScan (Online)
QR code-based mobile payments for online orders.
SnapScan (In-Store)
QR code-based mobile payments for face-to-face transactions.
Configuring a Payment Option
- Go to Store Settings > Payment Options in the left menu
- Find the payment method you want to set up
- Click EDIT
- Enter your account credentials and settings
- Set the status to Active
- Save
You can have multiple payment methods active simultaneously. Offering more payment options reduces cart abandonment by letting customers pay in the way they prefer.
