Overview
When a customer places an order on your store, it automatically appears in your Be Nimble portal. Here is what happens and what you need to do.
What Happens When an Order is Placed
- Customer adds products to their cart and proceeds to checkout
- Customer selects a payment method and completes payment
- The order appears in Orders > Open Orders with the appropriate status
- You receive an email notification of the new order
- The customer receives an order confirmation email
Checking for New Orders
Navigate to Orders > Open Orders regularly to check for new orders. The page shows the number of orders in each status category.
Processing the Order
Once you see a new order:
- Click VIEW to open the order details
- Review the items ordered
- Confirm the delivery address
- Check any special instructions or notes
- Prepare the items for dispatch
- Choose a dispatch method and dispatch the order
Turn on email notifications to ensure you are alerted as soon as a new order arrives. Fast order processing leads to better customer satisfaction.
