Overview

If you are dispatching an order using your own delivery method or a courier that is not integrated with Be Nimble, you can manually mark orders as dispatched.

When to Use Manual Dispatch

Use manual dispatch when:

  • You are using a courier not integrated with Be Nimble
  • You are delivering orders yourself
  • You are using a local delivery service
  • You have already arranged shipping outside of the Be Nimble system

How to Dispatch an Order Manually

  1. Go to Orders > Open Orders in the left menu
  2. Find the order ready for dispatch
  3. Click VIEW to open the order details
  4. Select the manual dispatch option
  5. Optionally add a tracking number or dispatch note
  6. Confirm the dispatch

The order status updates to dispatched and the customer receives a dispatch confirmation email.

After Manual Dispatch

  • The order moves out of Open Orders
  • The customer receives a dispatch notification
  • The order is recorded in your completed orders for reporting

Even when dispatching manually, always update the order status in Be Nimble so your records stay accurate and customers receive timely notifications.
