Overview

You can change the order in which your main categories appear in the navigation and on your store's home page. This lets you feature the most important categories prominently.

How to Reorder Main Categories

  1. Go to Products > Categories in the left menu
  2. Click the SORT MAIN CATEGORIES button at the top of the page
  3. Drag and drop the categories into your preferred order
  4. Save the new order

Why Category Order Matters

The order of categories affects:

  • The navigation menu on your store
  • The order categories appear on the home page (depending on your template)
  • The browsing flow for customers

Place your most popular or most important categories at the top of the order so customers see them first when browsing.
