Publishing makes an eligible product available on your storefront.

Publish while adding

  1. Go to Products > Add a Product.
  2. Complete the required product details.
  3. Select PUBLISH PRODUCT WHEN SAVING.
  4. Click SAVE PRODUCT.

Publish an existing product

  1. Go to Products > Overview.
  2. Open the product.
  3. Find its publication status.
  4. Click PUBLISH.

For an existing product, PUBLISH is its own action. You do not need to change a status dropdown and then save the whole form.

A published product shows RETRACT as the available action. Use that button to hide it again without archiving it.

Check the storefront

Open the product on your store and check its details and purchase options. Visibility also depends on the product not being archived and on the store being available. Listing and search updates may take time to appear.
