Overview
You can mark any product as being on sale to highlight it with a sale badge on your store and make it appear in the On Sale filter category.
How to Mark a Product as On Sale
- Go to Products > Overview in the left menu
- Click on the product you want to put on sale
- In the product edit page, find the pricing section
- Enter a sale price (lower than the regular price)
- Enable the "On Sale" toggle or checkbox
- Save the product
The product will immediately show the sale price and a sale badge on your store.
What Customers See
When a product is on sale, customers see:
- The original price displayed with a strikethrough
- The sale price shown prominently
- A sale or discount badge on the product card
Removing the Sale Status
To end the sale:
- Open the product for editing
- Disable the "On Sale" setting
- Restore the original price if you changed it
- Save the product
Sale badges attract attention and create urgency. Use them for genuine discounts to maintain customer trust.
