Overview

Duplicating a product creates an exact copy of an existing product. This is useful when you are adding a product that is very similar to one you already have, saving you from having to re-enter all the details from scratch.

How to Duplicate a Product

  1. Go to Products > Overview in the left menu
  2. Open the product you want to duplicate
  3. Find the duplicate option on the product edit page
  4. Confirm the duplication
  5. The new product is created as a copy
  6. Edit the duplicate to update the specific details that are different (name, price, images, etc.)
  7. Publish the duplicated product when ready

After Duplicating

The duplicated product will initially have the same name as the original. Make sure to update:

  • The product title and URL
  • Images (if different)
  • Price
  • Any variant-specific details

Duplicating is especially useful when you sell products that differ in only one or two attributes, like a product available in different sizes or configurations.
