Edit category details
- Go to Products > Categories.
- Click EDIT next to the category.
- Update its name or parent category.
- If Beautify Category is active, update the image, short description and featured setting offered.
- Click SAVE CATEGORY.
Leave the parent blank for a main category. The allowed parent options depend on the existing hierarchy.
Link products
Use MANAGE LINKED PRODUCTS to add or remove category products. The Linked Products tab on the category editor is read-only; saving category details does not save product-link changes.
Edit category SEO
Go to My Shop > SEO, find the category and click EDIT. Enter the SEO title and description, then click UPDATE SEO TAGS.
Category SEO fields are not part of the category details form.
Check the storefront
Category images and featured placement depend on the extension, template and homepage configuration. Check the category page and navigation after saving.
