Create a category

Create the category

1. Go to Products > Categories.
2. Click ADD NEW CATEGORY.
3. Enter the category name.
4. Choose a PARENT CATEGORY, or leave it blank for a main category.
5. Complete any additional settings offered to your account.
6. Click SAVE CATEGORY.

The category form does not provide an editable URL field. Image, short-description and featured controls depend on the Beautify Category extension.

Link products

Save the new category first. Then use MANAGE LINKED PRODUCTS to open its product-management page.

Search for products and use the page's add/remove actions. These product-link changes are saved separately from category details.

You can also manage category assignments from the product editor.

Set SEO

Go to My Shop > SEO, find the category and click EDIT to update its title and description tags.
