Overview
Adding products is the core activity for setting up and growing your store. Be Nimble's product form is comprehensive and allows you to capture all the information customers need to make a buying decision.
How to Add a Product
- Go to Products > Add a Product in the left menu
- Fill in the product details:
Descriptions
- Title – The product name (also generates the URL slug)
- URL – Auto-generated but can be customised
- Google / Facebook Feed Category ID – For advertising feeds
- Description – A detailed product description
Custom Product Tabs
Add up to 4 additional information tabs (e.g. Shipping Info, Care Instructions). Each tab has a title and rich text content.
Pricing
Enter the product price and optional sale price.
Inventory
Configure stock tracking for the product.
Shipping
Add weight and dimensions for courier quote calculations.
Product Images
Upload the main product image and additional gallery images.
- Use the checkboxes at the top to:
- PUBLISH PRODUCT WHEN SAVING – Make the product live immediately
- MARK AS FEATURED PRODUCT WHEN SAVING – Feature the product on your home page
- Click Save
High-quality product images and detailed descriptions are the most impactful things you can do to increase sales. Customers cannot touch or try products online, so imagery and description need to do that work.
