Overview

The Notice Bar is a thin banner that appears at the top of your store across all pages or selected pages. Use it to share promotions, shipping updates, service announcements, or any time-sensitive message.

Configuring the Notice Bar

  1. Go to My Shop > Design in the left menu
  2. Click on Notice Bar in the left design panel
  3. Enter your notice bar message (maximum 100 characters)
  4. Choose display options:
  • Show on all pages – Whether the bar shows on every page or only the home page
  • Allow dismiss – Whether visitors can close the notice bar
  1. Click SAVE NOTICE BAR

Hiding the Notice Bar

To hide the notice bar, simply clear the message field and save. An empty message means the bar will not be displayed on your store.

A live preview of your notice bar is shown below the settings so you can see exactly how it will look before saving.

Examples of Good Notice Bar Messages

  • "Free shipping on orders over R500!"
  • "Holiday closure: 25–27 Dec. Orders resume 28 Dec."
  • "New arrivals just dropped – shop now!"

Notice bar changes are applied immediately after saving. You do not need to publish a draft for notice bar updates.
