Overview
Low quantity notifications alert you when a product's stock falls below a threshold you set. This gives you time to reorder before you run out of stock.
Setting Up Low Quantity Notifications
- Go to Inventory in the left menu
- Click the LOW QTY NOTIFY button at the top of the page
- Set the minimum quantity threshold for notifications
- Save your settings
How Notifications Work
When a product's stock quantity falls below the threshold you have set, Be Nimble will notify you so you can take action before the product runs out.
Viewing Low Stock Products
On the Inventory page, use the LOW STOCK filter tag to view only products that are currently at or below the low stock threshold.
Set your low quantity threshold high enough to give yourself adequate lead time to reorder from your supplier and receive stock before you run out.
Tips
- Different products may need different threshold levels depending on how quickly they sell
- Check the low stock view regularly as part of your weekly store management routine
- Products with multiple variants may need variant-level stock monitoring
