Set the threshold
- Go to Inventory.
- Click UPDATE LOW QTY NOTIFY.
- Enter a whole number of zero or higher.
- Click UPDATE QTY.
This applies the entered threshold to all products in your store. It is not a separate threshold editor for each variant.
Low-stock view
Use LOW STOCK on the Inventory page to show tracked stock whose quantity is below its product's threshold. A quantity exactly equal to the threshold is not included by that filter.
Variant quantities are checked against their parent product's threshold.
Notifications
Low-quantity notifications are intended as a daily summary for published websites, rather than an immediate email for every stock change.
Check the low-stock view regularly and set a threshold that leaves enough time to reorder. If a daily message is missing, check that the website is published and contact support if needed.
