Overview

The Manage Issued Gift Cards page allows you to search for and manage specific gift card vouchers that have been issued to customers.

Searching for a Gift Card

Navigate to Gift Cards > Issued Gift Cards and search using one of the following:

  • Email Address – Search by the customer's email
  • Gift Card Code – Search by the voucher code
  • Order Number – Search by the order that generated the gift card
  • Customer Name – Search by the customer's name

What You Can Manage

Once you find a gift card, you can:

  1. View the voucher code and its current balance
  2. Check the expiry date
  3. Resend the gift card email to the customer
  4. View the order it was purchased with

Gift Card Rules

Gift cards sold on your website are valid for 36 months after purchase as required by South African law. Even if you disable gift cards, vouchers already purchased will remain valid.

Overview Dashboard

For a summary of all gift card activity, visit Gift Cards > Overview which shows:

  • Total gift cards sold (last 60 days)
  • Total gift cards cancelled (last 60 days)
  • Total money value of gift cards sold (last 30 days)
  • Total unused value of all active gift cards
