A gift-card product purchase creates voucher records for the order. The portal provides an explicit action to activate eligible vouchers and queue their email.

Generate and email the vouchers

  1. Open the paid order from Orders > Open Orders.
  2. Click GENERATE GIFT CARDS when that action is available.
  3. Review the customer, voucher values and activation status.
  4. Click GENERATE GIFT CARDS AND EMAIL.

The action activates vouchers that are waiting for activation and queues their email. The system calculates their expiry as 36 months from activation.

If the order contains only gift cards, this action also completes the order. Physical products on a mixed order still need their normal fulfilment.

Find issued vouchers

Go to Gift Cards > Issued Gift Cards and search by email, code, order number or customer name. Use the voucher detail screen to inspect its balance, activation and email history.

To sell gift-card products, first enable gift cards under Gift Cards > Sell Gift Cards, then add and publish the products you want customers to buy.
