Be Nimble allows you to add gift card products to your store that customers can purchase and send as gifts. When purchased, a unique voucher code is automatically generated.

How Gift Card Vouchers Are Generated

Gift card vouchers are created automatically when a customer purchases a gift card product from your store. The process is:

  1. Customer purchases a gift card product at checkout
  2. The order is processed and payment confirmed
  3. A unique voucher code is automatically generated
  4. The voucher code is emailed to the customer (or the gift recipient)

Viewing Generated Vouchers

All issued gift card vouchers can be found under Gift Cards > Issued Gift Cards. Use the search tools to find specific vouchers by email, code, order number, or customer name.

Adding Gift Card Products

To allow customers to purchase gift cards:

  1. Go to Gift Cards > Sell Gift Cards in the left menu
  2. Click ADD GIFT CARD
  3. Set the gift card name and value
  4. Publish the gift card

Gift cards sold on your website are valid for 36 months after purchase, as required by South African law.
