Overview
To sell gift cards on your store, you need to add gift card products with specific values. Customers can then purchase these as gifts for friends and family.
Adding a Gift Card Product
- Go to Gift Cards > Sell Gift Cards in the left menu
- Click the ADD GIFT CARD button
- Enter the gift card name (e.g. "R500 Gift Card")
- Set the gift card value (e.g. R500.00)
- Choose whether to feature the gift card on your home page
- Save the gift card
Managing Gift Card Products
The Sell Gift Cards page shows all your gift card products with:
- Name – The gift card product name
- Gift Card Value – The monetary value
- Status – Published or unpublished
- Featured – Whether it appears on the home page
Click EDIT next to any gift card to modify its details.
Tips
Offer gift cards in popular denominations (e.g. R100, R250, R500, R1000) to give customers flexibility when choosing a gift amount.
- You can have multiple gift card products with different values active at the same time
- Gift cards published to your store appear in your product catalogue for customers to purchase
