Overview

You can enable or disable the gift card feature on your store from the Gift Cards section. When active, gift card products appear on your store for customers to purchase.

Enabling Gift Cards

  1. Go to Gift Cards > Sell Gift Cards in the left menu
  2. The page shows your current gift card products with their status
  3. Gift cards are enabled by default when you add them and set their status to Published

Disabling Gift Cards

If you need to temporarily stop selling gift cards:

  1. Go to Gift Cards > Sell Gift Cards
  2. Click the DISABLE ALL GIFT CARDS button at the top of the page

Disabling gift cards only prevents new purchases. Gift cards that have already been purchased remain valid and can still be redeemed for 36 months from their purchase date.

Managing Individual Gift Cards

You can also manage individual gift card products:

  • EDIT – Change the name, value, or status of a specific gift card
  • Published/Unpublished – Control visibility of individual gift cards on your store
