Overview

The Uploadify extension lets shoppers attach files or enter custom text when they add a product to their cart. This is ideal for products that require personalisation, such as custom printing or engraving.

What Customers Can Upload

You can choose to enable the following input options on your products:

  • Text Field – Customers can enter text to customise the product (e.g. for printing or engraving)
  • Image Upload – Customers can upload an image file that will appear on the order in your dashboard

File Upload Limits

  • Maximum file size per upload: 2MB on Advanced package, 5MB on Expert package
  • Allowed file types: JPEG, JPG, GIF, PNG, PDF

How It Works

Uploaded files and text are attached to the customer's order and are viewable directly from the Be Nimble dashboard when you process the order.

Setting Up Uploadify

  1. Go to Extensions in the left menu
  2. Find Uploadify under Advanced Extensions
  3. Click MANAGE EXTENSION
  4. Activate the extension
  5. Go to each product and enable the Uploadify fields as needed
