Abandoned Cart Recovery sends follow-up emails for eligible abandoned baskets where the system has the shopper details needed to contact them.

Recovery stages

The stages become eligible after these periods:

  • Reminder: 4 hours.
  • Objection: 24 hours.
  • Discount: 48 hours.
  • Last Chance: 72 hours.

These are eligibility thresholds. The recovery worker checks baskets periodically, so they are not promises of delivery at an exact time.

Set up recovery

  1. Go to Extensions.
  2. Find Abandoned Cart Recovery under Advanced Extensions.
  3. Click MANAGE EXTENSION.
  4. Configure and activate the email stages you want to use.
  5. Save the settings.
  6. Use VIEW ACR REPORTS to review recorded recovery activity.

Each stage can be configured independently. Existing basket discounts and the configured discount's validity affect whether a discount can be offered.
