Overview

The First Time Buyer Discount is a special promotional tool that automatically applies a discount to a customer's first order. This helps encourage new shoppers to complete their first purchase.

Setting Up a First Time Buyer Discount

  1. Go to Discounts > Overview in the left menu
  2. Click the FIRST TIME BUYER DISCOUNT button at the top of the page
  3. Configure the discount type (fixed value or percentage) and amount
  4. Save the settings

How It Works

  • The discount is automatically applied when a customer who has never placed an order checks out
  • It does not require the customer to enter a code
  • It works separately from your standard discount codes

Managing the First Time Buyer Discount

The First Time Buyer Discount settings appear at the top of the Discounts Overview page. You can:

  • Enable or disable the discount
  • Change the discount type and value
  • View how many first-time buyers have used the discount

A first-time buyer discount is an effective way to convert new visitors into paying customers and build your customer base.
