Overview
SEO tags are what Google shows when your product appears in search results — the blue clickable heading and the grey description underneath it. Getting them right helps shoppers find your products and click through to your store.
BeNimble can write both for you, and shows you a realistic Google preview so you can see exactly how your product will look in search results before you save.

Writing SEO Tags
- Go to My Website > SEO in the left menu
- Choose the product you want to work on
- Click Write with AI next to the SEO Title Tag label
- Check the details that have been filled in for you:
- Product name — from your product title
- Product description — the first 200 characters of your product description
- Adjust either field if you want to guide the AI differently
- Click Generate SEO Tags — costs 1 Nimble
- Review the Google Preview
- Click Use these tags to fill in both fields
- Save the page
The Google Preview shows your title in blue, your store URL in green and your description in grey, exactly as Google renders it. Read it as a shopper would — would you click on it?
Understanding the Two Tags
SEO Title Tag
The blue clickable heading in Google's results. Keep it to a maximum of 60 characters — Google cuts off anything longer with an ellipsis.
SEO Description Tag
The grey summary underneath the heading. Keep it to a maximum of 160 characters. AI-generated descriptions are automatically kept within this limit.
Available on Products Only
The Write with AI button appears on product SEO pages only.
The same SEO page is also used for website pages and product categories, and those do not have an AI button. If you are on an SEO page without the AI option, you are editing a page or a category rather than a product.
Things to Know
Your description feeds the AI
The Product description box is filled with the first 200 characters of your existing product description. If your product has no description yet, this box will be empty and the AI has very little to work with.
Write your product description first — with Write with AI if you like — then come back and generate your SEO tags. The result will be much better.
Nothing saves until you save the page
Clicking Use these tags fills in the two fields. It does not save them. Save the page before navigating away.
Regenerating costs another Nimble
Regenerate runs a fresh generation and charges 1 Nimble again. If the result is close but not quite right, it is usually faster and cheaper to edit the text by hand.
The preview URL comes from your product
The green URL in the preview is built from your store address and the product's page address. If it looks wrong or ends in nothing, check the product's URL setting on the product page.
Your tags are kept in Replay
Every SEO generation is stored in AI Assistant > Replay, free to retrieve if you lose one.
Editing generated tags is encouraged. The AI gives you a strong starting point, but you know your customers and the words they actually search for. Adding your brand name or a location to the title often improves results.
