Overview

BeNimble can draft a complete blog post for you. Give it a topic and, if you like, a target audience, and it writes a full post straight into your editor, ready for you to edit and publish.

Writing a blog post costs 3 Nimbles.

The Write with AI button currently displays 2 Nimbles. The amount actually deducted from your wallet is 3. We are correcting the label.

Writing a Blog Post

  1. Go to your blogs list and click ADD NEW BLOG
  2. Click Write with AI above the editor
  3. Enter your Topic — for example, "summer sneaker trends for South African shoppers"
  4. Optionally enter a Target Audience — leave it blank for a general readership
  5. Click Write Blog Post
  6. Review the three parts of the result:
  • Draft Title — a suggested headline
  • Preview — the body of the post
  • Keyphrases — the search terms the post is built around
  1. Click Use this post
  2. Edit the post to suit your voice
  3. Click SAVE BLOG

Your store name is passed to the AI automatically, so the post is written with your business in mind.

Blog generation takes longer than the other AI tools — up to a minute. Leave the page open while it works.

Available on New Posts Only

The Write with AI button appears only when you are creating a new blog post.

Once a post has been saved and you reopen it to edit, the button is no longer there. To use AI again, start a new post.

Draft with AI first, save second. If you save an empty post and then reopen it hoping to generate content, you will find the button gone.

Writing a Good Topic

The topic is the single biggest influence on what you get back. Compare:

  • Weak: "shoes"
  • Better: "how to choose running shoes"
  • Best: "how to choose running shoes for Cape Town trail runs in winter"

The more context you give — season, location, customer type, occasion — the more specific and useful the post.

Using the audience field

The optional Target Audience field shapes the tone and the assumptions the post makes. Useful examples:

  • "First-time runners who have never bought trail shoes"
  • "Parents shopping for school uniforms on a budget"
  • "Small business owners looking for bulk pricing"

Using the Keyphrases

The Keyphrases list shows the search terms the post is built around. Use them when you set the blog's SEO details, and work them naturally into any extra paragraphs you add yourself.

Things to Know

Nothing saves until you click SAVE BLOG

Clicking Use this post puts the title and body into the editor. It does not save the post. Click SAVE BLOG before leaving the page.

If you lose a draft, it is still in AI Assistant > Replay, free to retrieve.

Regenerating costs another 3 Nimbles

Regenerate runs a completely fresh generation at full cost. If the draft is close, editing it yourself is faster and cheaper.

You need 3 Nimbles available

Even though the button shows 2, you need at least 3 Nimbles in your wallet for a blog generation to run. Top up from My Billing > Nimbles AI if you are refused.

The draft is a starting point, not a finished post

AI blog posts read well but can state things about your products, your prices or your industry that are simply not true. Read the whole post, correct anything inaccurate, and add your own experience before publishing. That is also what makes the post worth reading.

Publish when you are ready

Saving a blog post does not publish it. Set the post to published when you are happy with it.
